Cuervo Reserva 2012 Bottling Note

Jose Cuervo's exquisite Reserva de la Familia was released to celebrate two centuries of the brand, and the recipe for this wonderful tequila has remained a secret for more than 10 generations of the Cuervo family! The tequila itself is aged for at least ten years, with some spirit in the blend being aged for more than 30 years. Each bottle is totally handmade, from the boxes to the wax seals!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich agave nose with hints of honey, creamy caramel and toasted oak. Herbal.

Palate: Agave to the fore with notes of allspice, caramel sweetness, coffee beans and oak. Toasty and rich.

Finish: Long finish with oily spices and herbs.

Overall: A truly fantastic tequila.
