A rich Pedro Ximénez sherry from Sanchez Romate. This is aged in American oak for over 20 years, the result is rich and raisin-like in flavour.
I haven’t tasted a lick of this myself, but it’s our yearly gift to my husband’s grandfather, who thinks it’s just grand.
Absolutely amazing sherry. Rich,syrupy and a beautiful flavour. Very special to toast our late family on Christmas Day.
