Nose: Rich, punchy spices and caramel-like sweetness. Woody.
Palate: Sweet notes of Demerara sugar, potpourri and butterscotch. Very intense. Hints of molasses and treacle.
Finish: Long, musty finish. Nutmeg, cloves and sweetness.
Overall: Incredibly intense.
Creamy and sweet with a kick
Nothing smooth about this, its not unbarable but i think the alcohol retracts from the flavour. Keep it in a cocktail.

Got a bottle of this s little while back. It is something I like to treat myself to occasionally. It is very viscous, sweet and spicy with a caramel like quality to it. Yes it is strong but it does not have the kick that you (or at least I) would expect, it is still very smooth.

A friend of mine who loves his fine spirits always has a little hip flask with this in it. Its not for the feint hearted its powerful and first time you taste it you'll be blown away by the alcohol, but then all these lovely ice creamy, raisin, brown sugar notes come thru and you'll be glad you tried it.
