Plantation Guyana 1999 Bottling Note

A superb 1999 vintage from the extraordinary Plantation range, this Demerara rum was distilled in pot stills before a maturation in bourbon barrels. It was then shipped to France for a finish in Cognac Ferrand's own casks.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Oaky nose with toffee and marmalade. Hints of praline and vanilla, with a development of almond oil and Demerara sugar.

Palate: Baked fruits and marzipan, with hints of cinnamon, almond oil and caramel. Very spicy and fruity.

Finish: Cedar and cinnamon, with a hint of orange peel.
