Havana Club Barrel Proof Bottling Note

To make Cuban Barrel Proof a selection of rums are blended before a finish in specially selected oak barrels. These are then bottled straight form the barrel. This great rum from Havana Club was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2004 International Review of Spirits.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Nutty and spiced with notes of caramel and dark, stewed fruits, a little honey and some coffee.

Palate: Full and peppy. Mochaccino, feinty cigar box and honey notes. Hints of Muscovado and exotic spice.

Finish: Smoky and rich. Caramel and stewed fruits. Chewy oak.
