Lowland Grain Whisky

The Lowlands are known for their more gentle, floral whiskies. The Lowlands is also home to a great number of grain whisky distilleries. As blended whisky at large depends on grain whisky, and blended whisky fuels the industry, these grain distilleries really are the basis of Scotch. The Lowlands is home to several grain distilleries, including the William Grant owned Girvan distillery and Cameron Bridge.
