Micil Irish Poitín comes to us from the beautiful coastal city of Galway on the west coast of Ireland, made by 6th generation poitín makers. The spirit itself is grain-based, and flavoured with bogbean to give it a softly floral, spicy kick. Intriguing stuff, suitable for enjoying in cocktails or simply sipped neat over ice.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Menthol, violet and a touch of vanilla (complimenting the creamy mouth feel). A slight peppery heat develops later on.
