Creme de Menthe - 1930s
This is a really, really old bottle of Marie Brizard Crème de Menthe, dating from the 1930s. That's really old isn't it? This could be nearly 83 years old! It's the kind of crème de menthe that may have been enjoyed in grasshoppers served in the bar of a Zeppelin Airship as it made its stately progress across the Atlantic. If that doesn't bring home just how old this is we don't know what will. This 12fl. oz bottle is a real peice of spirit history, and it's in remarkably good condition for its age, although the seal is slightly damaged.
