A set of six Glencairn tasting glasses. These are a superb way of enjoying whisky and other fine spirits, thanks to their shape and design, which provides optimal palate entry, whilst concentrating the flavours for a better nosing experience.
Used to love the Glencairn glass, but recently the quality has deteriorated substantially. Nearly 1/3 of the glasses I ordered had some sort of defect or another (air bubbles, etc.).
I have had these glasses before they are very good. Now we want some more!
The capacity of a typical Glencairn whisky glass is approximately 175 ml (6 US fl oz), and it is intended to hold approximately 50 ml (1.7 US fl oz) of liquid.
As I have never seen these I cannot review anything but the description in which there is no mention of the capacity of these glasses.
