Blackwoods 2005 Bottling Note

Distilled in 2005, this is an incredible vintage dry gin made by Blackwoods in the Shetland Islands. They flavour this with a variety of local botanicals including wild water mint, juniper, sea pink, meadow sweet, violets and bog myrtle.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lemon rind and earthy juniper to the fore, alongside hints of zest, peppermint leaves and dried herbs.

Palate: Very citrusy palate entry, with a good juniper core. Fragrant woods, spice and mint.

Finish: Minty finish with notes of lemon zest and herbs.
