Woods rum is distilled in Guyana, at the Diamond Distillery. It is distilled using pot stills as well as continuous stills. Sugar canes are harvested from the banks of the Demerara river. The rum has been produced as such for the last 150 years. The spirit is aged for... up to three years before blending. In 2002, the brand was acquired by William Grant and Sons.
