Hine 1985 Bottling Note

A stunning 1985 vintage cognac from top producers Hine. This was brought over to England in 1989, where it was aged in British cellars before bottling in 2004. Brilliant.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Very spicy and rich. We get mahogany and calves leather, with nutmeg, turmeric, ginger and pepper. A touch of rancio too.

Palate: Very big and muscular with notes of aniseed, ginger and cloves, a touch of apple peel and fig which develops with sublime sweetness, and just a hint of rancio.

Finish: Drawn out with spices and musty truffle notes.
