Distilled at Domaine Dupont in 1977, this calvados is bottled at cask strength to maximise its complexity and concentration. It is distilled from 80% bittersweet apples, and 20% tart apples, which are harvesting during September thru November. They age the spirit in 1200 litre oak barrels, before moxing it into 400 litre oak barrels. The result is a spicy, citrussy calvados with nutmeg and vanilla notes.
