Bowmore Bourbon Cask Ale Bottling Note

Islay ales have used the grist from Bowmore to brew their beer, then matured the result it in an ex-bourbon barrel that previously housed Bowmore whisky.
It's a hefty beer with heavy malty notes and a wisp of Bowmore smoke.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lots of hops with malty vanilla notes and a hint of smoke

Palate: Very malty with lots of dried fruit and dark chocolate.

Finish: Wispy smoke over malty sweetness.

Overall: A great, sweet beer.
