The story of Bommerlunder aquavit dates back to 1760 and to the German inn "zu Bommerlund". Once there was a wounded rider, who had to convalesce at the inn. So grateful was he to the host, Peter Schwnnesen, that the rider handed him the formula for a superb aquavit.
It is an awesome aquavit that unfortunately is not presently available in Canada. It was here a few years ago but the government gouged it with taxes so much it never had a chance.
My father at the end of '80 went in Germany For His job and he brought a bottle of this aquavit. I was a boy but I tried it with a Great surprise I loved it and I tried it many Times till now !
