Nose: Huge notes of freshly cut fruit salad and baked apple. Thick toffee, oak and soft spices appear, with dried figs. Very complex and deep - a great deal coming through from the cask.
Palate: Sticky, rich palate entry. Corinth raisins and hints of milk chocolate atop a biscuity malt core, with a touch of tangy citrus. Lovely sherry backbone - this is an unctuous, fruity malt. A sprinkling of allspice and tropical fruit develop late palate.
Finish: Long and spicy. Hints of clove oil and walnut loaf. A dusting of cocoa perhaps.
