Wakefield Estate St. Andrews Shiraz 2010

St. Andrews Shiraz 2010 Bottling Note

Wakefield Estate is named after the Wakefield River in the Clare Valley, South Australia, but rather pleasingly also shares its name with a city in Yorkshire. So, whilst we should be imagining warm, picturesque landscape to the north of Adelaide, we actually find ourselves thinking about rugby league fields and record points scorer Neil Fox MBE (who, of course, played against Australia down under for Great Britain back in the 1960s - how's that for a further tenuous link?).

This cracking Shiraz is from Wakefield's award-winning signature St. Andrews range...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Full flavoured with fragrant black fruits, rich coffee, cherries and dark spices.
