Not technically a 'type' of Champagne, more of a philosophical construct (too high brow? Okay - it's just expensive Champagne). Dom Perignon (from Moët), Clos de Mesnil (from Krug), and cuveé Sir Winston Churchill (from Pol Roger) are all examples of Prestige cuveés. Typified by a higher than usual level of Grand Cru grapes from older vines, and impressive packaging, Prestige cuveés really can claim to be the King of Bling.
