This Italian red is made from the Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grape types in the Veneto district of Italy. The residual sugar in the grape skins lead to a more complex wine than the standard Valpolicellas.
Dark chocolate, cassis fruit and gentle spice on the nose lead to a soft mouth-feel and sweet blackcurrant flavours on the palate. The finish is gentle with a little spice.
