The Recchia Amarone from Valpolicella is made from the Corvina grape which are unusually dried for three months to concentrate the sugars and flavours. The result is a full bodied wine with rich plummy flavours.
Damsons, plums, demerara sugar and sweet spices form a rich bouquet followed by syrupy plum fruits on the palate and a warm spicy finish. Truly delicious.
