For this wonderful La Korse 2019 from Australia's Koerner winery, a core of Sangiovese and Grenache is supported by Malbec, and just a dash of Sciacarello and Carignan. The grapes are hand-picked from the vines, some of which were planted back in 1935! The wine was then aged in ceramic amphora for two months before it was moved to steel for another five months, resulting in a light and fruity red with a mineral undertone.
Fresh summer berries, with strawberry alongside spiced plum sauce, with a sweet herbaceous undertone and spices on the finish.
