Californian Pinot Noir from Handley Cellars and hailing from the Anderson Valley, a slightly cooler area of Northern California perfect for growing the classic Burgundian varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The cooler climate combined with winemakers minimal use of oak make a lighter, fruity style of Pinot Noir.
Shiny red fruit, cherries, raspberries and a touch of oaken spice but very subtle. Elegant and minerally style, this is a world away from some of the dense, heavily oaked Pinot Noir wines found elsewhere in California.
