This is a stunning Chardonnay from this Adelaide Hills producer. The grapes are handpicked, bunch pressed and fermented with wild yeasts - and to cap it off no SO2 is added until bottling.
A rich toasty aroma greets the nose with brioche and citrus fruits on the palate and conference pear on the close. The six months of lees stirring has created a lactic texture and a toasty depth.
