Using grapes from three farms in the Central Otago sub-region, Felton Road's 2013 vintage Bannockburn Pinot Noir is noted for having a bolder centre of red fruit notes than previous vintages. It is aged in French oak casks for 11 months before bottling. A very handsome red wine from New Zealand.
Nose: Massively fruit-filled - big, gorgeous hits of dark cherries, paired with simmering cinnamon spices.
Palate: Rounded and soft, with fruits a-plenty and very subtle grassy notes.
Finish: Quite long, with a hint of liquorice.
