In 1975 the De Loach estate bottled its first wine, a Zinfandel. In 2003 the Burgundian estate J-C Boisset bought the winery and focus on small-lot wine-making. This is a fruity Chardonnay with a crisp acidity.
Tropical fruit aromas fill the nose with hints of pear as an afterthought. The palate is fresh and acidic with further notes of pear and exotic fruit. The finish holds a little spice and some pineapple fruit notes.
