Clos Mogador Priorat 2014 Bottling Note

Priorat is one of the oldest wine growing regions in the world, and was named after the first Carthusian monastery ever built in Spain, the 12th century 'Priory'.

Following the traditional, artisan ‘Grands Crus’ methods, Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon are selected by the winemakers of Clos Mogador and aged in French oak barrels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Ripe fruit and wild herbs, hints of smoke and some pepper spice.

Palate: Strong acidity livens the velvety tannins, chocolate, cherry and liquorice blend with a smattering of spices and herbs.

Finish: Long, with earthy, mineral tones.
