Château Peyrabon 2005 Bottling Note

Fantastic Bordeaux wine from Château Peyrabon, hailing from the Haut Médoc appellation. Enjoyable now and will also cellar handsomely - sure to pair well with rich, meaty dishes too...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Dark berries and ripe black cherries. Meaty wafts of toasted oak bring vanilla and liquorice root to the table. Subtly earthy at points.

Château Peyrabon Cru Bourgeois Haut Médoc 2005 Reviews

Drink now.

5/22/19. Excellent example of a mature Bordeaux at great value . I use it a lot as an example to my friends who are domestic Pinot Merlot fans to illustrate the balance and finesse that occurres over time , properly stored, and the rewards an even inexpensive Bordeaux can deliver. At 14 years it has held up well but exhibits slight oxidation after about an hour of opening. Load up at anywhere around $20 and store in temperature control to hold where it’s at.
