This is a rich, meaty claret from Bordeaux's legendary Graves region. We expect this 2007 vintage from Château Mouras to reach its peak at around after about 10 years of cellaring. Thanks to its lovely richness, this will pair beautifully with red meat dishes.
Nose: Ripe, complex aromas. Cherries and blackberries. Hints of pipe tobacco and just a touch of allspice.
Palate: Juicy and rich cassis and sloe. Toasted oak, vanilla, cigar leaves and cocoa.
Finish: Chocolatey, dense finish.
