Château La Tour de By Médoc 2012 Reviews

Great old school red wine

This is a great wine for the price. It's a proper old school red wine that ages incredibly well but do require quite a few years before drinking. I have enjoyed 1982, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2004, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2016.

People who rated it low probably drank it too young or were expecting something else.

Nothing special

Bought it for £10.40 a bottle on Brittany Ferries and, having drunk it, think it was over priced even at that level
