Bruno Clair Marsannay Blanc 2013

Bruno Clair Marsannay '13 Bottling Note

Situated in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, which is most famous for its red wine, the white wines of Marsannay can be overlooked. This one is made by Bruno Clair and unlike many sub-regions of Burgundy where only Chardonnay is permitted, this is an oaked blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, which gives some extra body and richness.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Full-bodied with citrus, peach and delicate floral aromas from the Chardonnay, the oak adds a buttery element and the Pinot Blanc gives it real weight and richness.
