Boekenhoutskloof 2016 Bottling Note

It's the 2016 vintage of The Chocolate Block from top South African winemakers, Boekenhoutskloof. This vintage was made using a combination of 79% Syrah, 11% Grenach Noir, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cinsault and 1% Viognier grapes, and aged for 16 months in oak before making its way into bottles for our enjoyment.

Spiced berry compote, drying dark chocolate, a touch of cumin earthiness.
