WoodWinters ‘Isle Solera’ 16 Year Old

WoodWinters Isle Solera Bottling Note

The release of a 16 year old Bowmore charged from a single sherry butt is exciting enough news as it is, yet, knowing it was expertly handled by WoodWinters makes it all the better.

There's 700 bottles of this lovely single malt, bottled at a weighty 58.1% ABV, in total - so I wouldn't recommend you dilly-dally - get stuck straight in.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Black bun, creamy vanilla, espresso and heather blends with sweet spices and coastal notes of rock pools and iodine.

Palate: Dried apricot, Seville orange and macerated cherries coated in demerara sugar, elegant peat and well-roasted barley.

Finish: Long with cocoa, rum and raisin and cedar wood.
