This expression from Wolfburn was released in order to support Help for Heroes. Produced at Scotland's northernmost mainland whisky distillery, the whisky was drawn from a combination of first-fill bourbon and Oloroso sherry hogsheads, with an outturn of 1,939 bottles. A portion of the profits from each bottle will go towards Help for Heroes, a charity which aims helps support British servicemen and women who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty.
Nose: Floral and sweet, with a drizzle of honey alongside kitchen spices and baklava.
Palate: Vanilla chai latte, with oak char and some dried fruit, with a touch of tannic drying oak too.
Finish: Floral honey returns alongside banoffee pie and the subtlest hint of smoke.
