A very well-Sherried blend from the Cadenhead Creations range. The previous batch of this expression was a 20 year old, but they've kicked things up a notch with this one, now using whiskies aged for at least 36 years!
Nose: Seville orange peels galore, with a good helping of juicy clementine segments too. Hints towards polished oak hide in there too.
Palate: Woody notes continue, but the fruit dominates the palate once again. Still loads of orange, though now joined by plum, damson and some white grape.
Finish: Long and sweet with red fruit.
