William Larue Weller 2008 Bottling Note

The stunning third release of William Laure Weller from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. This was released in 2008, and it's exquisite. William Larue is a wheated bourbon and, despite its thunderous strength, is surprisingly smooth on the palate.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Honey, dried orange peel, candy floss, toffee apples, brioche, molasses, vanilla.

Palate: Sublime delivery of tightly knit grains, vanilla sweetness too, and gingerbread spices. A little like a maple syrup flapjack…

Finish: Oaked, toasty and buttery, a little berry fruit on the tail.
