A 12 year old wheated Kentucky straight bourbon named for William Larue Weller, allegedly the first to substitute rye for wheat.
Nose: Oily and rich. Marzipan, cereals, vanilla spice.
Palate: Oaked. Spice, perfumy, toasty.
Finish: Quite sweet, oaky, cereal rich.

I did a paired tasting of this W.L. Weller 12 and Van Winkle Special Reserve 12. Personally, I think the nose on the W.L. Weller is a bit richer and they both taste very much alike to me - Very sippable. Small wonder they get sold out.
