Wire Works Virgin Oak 70cl Whisky

The second whisky release from White Peak matured in Virgin Oak, this is a development of the limited release from 2022. Made with lightly peated malted barley, this whisky underwent a six-day fermentation with live brewer’s yeast and was aged in first-fill bourbon barrels. It was then finished for several months at a lower ABV in virgin American oak barrels with a select range of toast and char levels. As with all Wire Works Whiskies, Virgin Oak is 100% natural colour and non-chill filtered. It was bottled at 50.5% ABV.
