Wemyss Winter Spice 1982 (Teaninich)

Wemyss Winter Spice Bottling Note

A spicy and warming Teaninich bottled at cask strength (44.4%), without colouring or chill filtration, by Wemyss Malts.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Very spicy, bursting with cinnamon, ginger and cloves, followed by revealing notes of sweet candied fruits and demerara sugar.

Palate: The palate is fresh and vibrant, which belies its age. A grassy, herbal note fades to reveal mint, sweet spice and cloved oranges.

Finish: Spiced marmalade notes fade slowly on the tongue.

Overall: This whisky more than lives up to its name and provides a tasty, warming malt for those chilly evenings.
