This bottle might be missing a box or have a torn label, but the liquid inside is all good.
A peated Irish whiskey from Waterford, distilled from Arcadian barley grown on the estate. The barley was dried with Irish peat, imparting bold layers of oily smoke and brine to the finished spirit – a profile that would have been commonplace for Irish whiskey in days of old but is a bit of a rarity these days.
Vibrant barley, fresh apples, and pears are joined by bold, briny smoke and a touch of pebbly minerality.
Oily, with bonfire smoke and earthy tea followed by apple pastries and sweet, juicy stone fruits.
Pipe smoke, herbal tea, tar, and charred oak.
