Tweeddale Grain Peated Bottling Note

You've heard of The Tweeddale Grain of Truth, now get ready for the Peated Edition! Peated grain whisky isn't something we see often, so this is pretty cool. The mashbill is made up of 50% wheat and 50% malted barley for a pretty unique flavour profile. The whisky was matured in bourbon barrels before bottling at 50% ABV. Its rich smokiness makes it an ideal contender for a postprandial dram.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lemon curd and apple skin, with white chocolate, fresh hay and earthy smoke, alongside oak spice and fresh citrus.

Palate: Sweet and smoky intertwine, with milk chocolate praline, barbecued tropical fruit and toffee, with tart red berries appearing.

Finish: A dry finish, with oak char, swirls of bonfire smoke and dusty cocoa.
