Nose: Leafy green notes and dried grass lead with brown sugar, toasted almonds and vanilla fudge. Lots of rich toffee and a helping of marzipan icing provide an unctuous sweetness.
Palate: Acacia honey and more toffee initially with toasted vanilla and fiery ginger in support. Plenty of oak-driven spiciness and earthy notes add depth.
Finish: Sweet but peppered.
Overall: A distinct malt with complexity and a developing array of flavour.
