Nose: Quite light and fragrant, with toasted English muffins - one side buttered, the other with a thin layer of honey. It moves on to crunchy apples, which grow warmer and slightly stewed later. Cinnamon and white pepper spice.
Palate: Really bursts on the palate with whole walnut and dried apples. Developing juiciness with plenty of sultanas. Orange peels and a little bit of spicy cardamom.
Finish: Very nutty on the finish, with crumbly chocolate digestives lasting on to the end.
Overall: Wonderfully rounded and nutty, new notes emerge throughout but not one is out of place here.
