Tomatin Cù Bòcan Sherry Cask

Cù Bòcan Sherry Cask Bottling Note

While Tomatin's original Cù Bòcan was a lightly peated single malt matured in a combination of bourbon, Sherry and virgin oak casks, this special edition showcases the Sherried notes, by being matured exclusively in Sherry casks. Only 6,000 bottles were released.

The story behind the Cù Bòcan releases is one of haunted Highland villages, ghost dogs and terrified distillery workers. Scary stuff. The story, not the whisky, the whisky's tasty - Sherried and fruity with a hint of smoke at the core.

Tomatin Cù Bòcan Sherry Cask Reviews

Great for the price

I have been eying this bottle for a wee bit and decided to go for it today. The nose is a bit confusing at first, toffee, smoke....cherries. It has a rich fruity flavour with a taste of peat on the back of your tongue and a slightly smokey but sweet finish.

This is a really nice whisky for the price.
