10 year old Tomatin, independently bottled by Douglas Laing as part of its long-running Provenance range. It was distilled February 2010 and allowed to slumber for a decade in a refill hogshead. Following that rest, the cask was cracked open and the whisky was bottled with an outturn of 431 bottles.
Nose: Toffee, barley, raisins and dried apple chips.
Palate: Strudel, vanilla latte, more barley, grist, black pepper, and ginger.
Finish: Brown sugar, winter spices and dried fruit.
