Tomatin 15 Year Old Reviews

Not bad...

Did a 12, 15, 18 tasting liked the 12 the best.

The 15 has a nice, light blonde color. The nose was sweet, oaky and had dried fruit. A bit more "alcohol" was detected than the 12 but still light and fresh. The palate was oakey with dried fruit and a slight amount of honey. The finish was medium in length and added a bit of nuttiness to the mix. Seemed a little more harsh than the twelve I thought...probably due to the oak.

I picked this up after finishing a bottle of the 12. I preferred the 12 but this is good nonetheless.

What a treat!

Absolutely a joy to drink!

I'm a big fan of a more subtle whisky and this really hits the spot.
Light with mild citrus, fruit and cream influences. With a super soft finish this definitely one for the straight whisky drinker!

Great bourbon casks edition!

Absolutely marvellous. A typical bourbon barrels whisky, showing tremendous interplay between spirit and white oak. Superb complexity yet fresh!!!
