A very interesting 6 year old Tobermory from Douglas Laing's Provenance range which promotes the effects of season on a finished whisky. This was distilled in the Summer of 2006 and bottled in the Summer of 2012.
Nose: Soft spices and dark brown sugar, a little honey and notes of dried fruit.
Palate: Pipe tobacco and cinnamon. Hints of cherry and fresh vanilla. Very youthful and zesty.
Finish: Huge spices on the palate with a porridge-like flavour.
