Tobermory 21yo #93841 Bottling Note

21 year old single malt from the Isle of Mull's Tobermory distillery, finished in a rum barrel. This was distilled in July 1995 and independently bottled by Ian Macleod for the Chieftain's range in June 2017. A release of only 177 bottles.

Nose: Toasted barley delivers vanilla, honey and butter notes, followed by waves of nutmeg and walnut.

Palate: New leather, more walnut, some fizzy orange followed by Demerara sugar and grist.

Finish: Five-spice powder, dark chocolate and sharp green apple.
