Ledaig 8 Year Old 2008 (cask 11327) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)

Ledaig 8yo 2008 #11327 Bottling Note

8 year old Ledaig single malt Scotch whisky from the Tobermory distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing. This was distilled back in February 2008 and matured in a refill hogshead until August 2016, when it joined the Provenance range with an outturn of 459 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Bonfires on the seashore, joined by sweet popcorn and peach.

Palate: The theme of 'robust smoke balanced by juicy fruit' continues, though the vegetal peat stays up-front.

Finish: Herbaceous smoke notes last long on the finish.
