Ledaig 1994 - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon and MacPhail)

Ledaig 1994 G&M Bottling Note

Aged in remade refill hogsheads and distilled at the Tobermory distillery in 1994, this is a peated "Ledaig" described by bottlers Gordon and MacPhail as having a "subtle, sweet and smooth" style.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Herbal, aromatic nose with hints of mixed spices, creamy custard and a little smoke.

Palate: The palate offers up notes of pear drops, allspice, toffee apples and chocolate-coated Brazil nuts.

Finish: Sweet, spiced finish. Perfume-like with fruit lingering.

Overall: Sweet and smooth, just as described.
