Peaty Island whisky from the Tobermory distillery, bottled for the Old Particular range by Douglas Laing. This whisky was allowed to mature in a refill hogshead for 15 years, from February 2002 to June 2017, when it was then bottled with an outturn of 351 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Richly smoky, with a helped of salted caramel in the background.

Palate: Continued phenolic notes up front, joined by fresh melon and blackcurrant.

Finish: A slight hint of oak-y spice lingers.
